Altered

Welcome to Altered! It is a magazine dedicated to the art of rebirth. We live in a world where change is inevitable, but here, we celebrate it as an art form. Whether it is the personal reinvention that follows life’s defining moments or the creative act of taking something old and making it new, this issue explores the many ways in which change shapes our lives.

This issue of Altered takes a deep dive into the beauty—and the pitfalls—of reinvention. We explore the power of a well-executed cover song, the ingenuity of artists who breathe new life into forgotten materials, and the craftsmanship behind dress recreations that blur the line between nostalgia and modernity. But we also examine the darker side of alteration: grief and how it reshapes the human spirit, the cost of forced transformation, and, of course, the movie remakes that should've never seen the light.

The Hollywood Issue was created, designed, and produced by an individual passionate about transformation in all its forms. This magazine is a testament to reinvention, innovation, and the power of shifting perspectives.

In Hollywood, transformation is currency. Actors slip into new identities, films get remade, trends come and go, and music is constantly reimagined. Some transformations are brilliant reinventions, while others leave us wondering what went wrong.
